It’s funny how fate works. How you never know what tomorrow has in store. How you think you have everything planned out one day but the plans are changed beyond your control the next. I believe in fate, that everything happens for a reason & that whatever, whoever runs this place has in store for you is meant to be. I truly believe that where you are right now is exactly where you should be regardless of weather your situation be good or bad.

In early February I welcomed James back home. For good. It comes with a lot of mixed feelings letting you all know that James, due to reasons that were ultimately out of our hands, decided to leave the Army and return to Auckland. I am not going to go into detail about why this decision came to be however after a lot of discussion we are both very happy with the decision we made for him to return home.

I am so incredibly proud of what he has achieved and I know he has taken a lot from this experience, we both have. This will be my last ‘Military Life’ post however will be replaced with a bunch of new and exciting adventures.

I want to thank you all for your support you’ve given me over the past year – I couldn’t have done it without you.
